Summer 2010

Summer started off with a bang! Jefferson Blair Hart came into the world on May 20th. He was 7lbs 5oz. He had a few issues at first but 4 days later we were ready to go home. Jackson loves his little brother. He talks to him all the time and calls him "little brother". It has been a real adjustment to having 2 kids. One day I fed Jet, then put him on the floor to sleep, then I got Jack a peanut butter sandwich (without the top) for lunch. Jack likes to put the peanut butter on himself, so I got him a knife and the jar to do it himself. Then my phone rang and I walked out of the kitchen. When I was done with my call, I walked back into the kitchen. Jack was missing and so was the peanut butter jar. I called out his name and heard a tiny little voice from the family room, "yes?" When I walked into the room Jack was sitting with the saddest look on his face and the peanut butter jar stuck to his hand. He lifted it up for me and said, "it hates me mom, it won't come off." He thought he was in trouble, but I thought it was hilarious.
